L’affaire prend une dimension internationale. Apr\u00e8s le pr\u00e9sident fran\u00e7ais Emmanuel Macron, la FIFA et le gouvernement paraguayen, c’est d\u00e9sormais l’Organisation des Nations unies (ONU) qui a publiquement apport\u00e9 son soutien \u00e0 Kylian Mbapp\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Par la voix de son Haut-Commissariat aux droits de l’homme, l’ONU a fermement condamn\u00e9 les d\u00e9clarations de la s\u00e9natrice paraguayenne Celeste Amarilla, qualifiant ses propos de \u00ab racistes \u00bb, \u00ab d\u00e9shumanisants \u00bb et \u00ab ignobles \u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cette prise de position intervient alors que les d\u00e9clarations de l’\u00e9lue paraguayenne ont suscit\u00e9 une vague d’indignation \u00e0 travers le monde. De nombreuses personnalit\u00e9s politiques, sportives et institutions ont d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 des propos jug\u00e9s incompatibles avec les valeurs de respect, d’\u00e9galit\u00e9 et de lutte contre toutes les formes de discrimination.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’ONU a rappel\u00e9 que le racisme n’a sa place ni dans le sport ni dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et a appel\u00e9 \u00e0 combattre avec fermet\u00e9 les discours de haine, quels qu’en soient les auteurs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depuis le d\u00e9but de cette pol\u00e9mique, les soutiens envers Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 se multiplient. Emmanuel Macron avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 exprim\u00e9 son appui au capitaine de l’\u00e9quipe de France, tandis que la FIFA avait condamn\u00e9 toute forme de discrimination. Le gouvernement paraguayen s’\u00e9tait \u00e9galement d\u00e9solidaris\u00e9 des propos tenus par la s\u00e9natrice.<\/strong><\/p>\n
